It has been a busy couple of weeks for Draughtsmen Aleworks!
We officially opened our doors!
After several years of thinking and talking about opening a brewery, and 16 months of back-breaking construction, we finally opened our doors to the public on April 14th. And wow, what an amazing reception! Thank you, brewers, beer lovers, and neighbors for welcoming us to the neighborhood. We are so excited to be a part of the Goleta, CA community and Santa Barbara County brewing scene and look forward to serving you more pints in the future!
Poker & a Pint on April 9th
Our first public showing for us and the Draughtsmen sisterhood came out to pour Crimson & Clover Irish Red and Buxom Blonde for the participants of the 4th Annual Rough Rider Dad's Poker Tournament. The fun-filled event was held at the Santa Barbara Carriage Museum. The evening included burritos, bikes, corn hole and, of course, poker. We have been brewing for a few months now and it was time to go public with a few of our brews and we figured what better way than for the good of the kids! Beer was had by all and the tournament raised over $20,000 for Roosevelt Elementary School!
Valley Brewers Supply Pick-Up on April 20th
Sandy and Chris from Valley Brewers made us their Santa Barbara supply delivery stop. It's always a pleasure to see them! We met several home brewing aficionados as they stopped by to pick up their brewing supplies. Thanks for the visit, hope to see you again soon.
