When you have a good team and you are passionate about what you are doing, you can create all kinds of amazing things. They say this is work, but it doesn't feel like it because we are having too much fun in the process!

Since we are couple days into the new year, we have been reflective about what we have accomplished in 2016. Together, our team could not have done all that we have without one another this past year. It seems only fitting that our new Russian Imperial Stout is finally ready to take the stage.

The first Russian Proton rocket was launched in 1965. It has been one of the most successful heavy boosters in the history of spaceflight. With a nod to this success, we decided to name our Russian Imperial Stout Proton.

Inspired by brewers in the 1800's to win over the Russian Czar, this type of stout is bold, high in alcohol and carries plenty of malt character. Our Proton Russian Imperial Stout has low to moderate levels of carbonation with intense flavors. We had patience with this one and aged it in tawny port barrels for six months, giving it immense roasted, chocolate and burnt malt flavors; bittersweet, espresso and dark berries. This special release has been bottled in our limited edition 16 oz bottles. Mmm… we think it is so good. Cheers to 2017!
